Looking through the Eyes of an Unseen Child
Dear Friends,
It is so important that we have true compassion for others. During a group therapy session a few years ago, a child of fifteen was very wise when she said, "Diana, you need to walk the walk, otherwise you can't talk the talk." That hit home for me. If we, as a society, don't show true compassion for these children, our words mean nothing...

This child did not have the same Faith that I have.
Therefore, her words speak to all people of all beliefs.
I have realized that all people (whatever your faith) need
the same message. Guilt shot through me as I heard
her words. But with her honesty came another
opportunity to put her words into action. I had hidden
secrets and she knew it. If we listen to these children,
we learn that their wisdom can be a blessing.
There are many people in my life that I can draw
strength from. It was a special person in my life that
taught me that the deepest pain can produce the
deepest joy. If we can face our pain, we can
rejoice with the gift of compassion to see the
unseen children of our world.
What a gift we, as society, have. This is an awesome opportunity to be a part of our future generation! I am no longer ashamed of who I am, but honored to be included in such a mission. I hope this book will open your eyes to the wisdom these children have given me. ~Diana Joy~
